Some networks use a "proxy server" to control access to the Internet. This is a very popular method for managing secure access from within corporate firewalls. Some companies just use a proxy host name and port (typically port 80 by default), to gain access to the internet from within the company. Others also require a corporate identifier for the user and a password. We support either scenario.

The service will respond with various success and/or error codes to help your application determine what further actions are required (if any) to establish communication with the Nitro-LM Servers.
